The Big 3-0

Just wanted to thank everyone for the b-day wishes. Obviously, this is a big b-day, and you all have definitely been letting me know it :)

I have to say, at the risk of sounding completely saccharine, I couldn't be happier with my life right now. Mike and Miller make me laugh every day, and I am so incredibly lucky to have them both in my life. It's also been more clear to me than ever since Miller was born that I couldn't live without my family and friends. Everyone has been so supportive of our little family, and it makes me feel loved every day.

Thank you to all of you for making my first 30 years so special. Here's to the next 30!

Happy 1st Father's Day, Mike!

Because Miller can't talk or type yet, he asked me to wish his daddy a happy Father's Day for him. Here's a picture of Miller smiling at Mike this morning.

Mike is really an amazing dad. He is so patient and sweet with Miller, and Miller thinks he is the greatest thing ever. I am not at all surprised, because he's such an amazing husband too.

Happy Father's Day to Miller's Grandpa Brant, PawPaw and Chuckpaw too! Here's a baby smile for you!

Miller and Michael

Miller already loves his cousin (or second cousin, or something) Michael. Check out this big ol' smile he was giving him. Hilarious.

Miller Is Famous

Miller is officially the adorable baby of the week this week on the Tiny Prints blog (adorable site where we ordered his birth annoucements). Miller's friend Benjamin was famous too a few weeks back, so Miller told me that he wanted to be as cool as him.

So Big!

Miller had a check-up today to make sure his little ears had all healed up from the infection that he had last month. Fortunately, his ears looked great, so hopefully that will be his last ear infection for awhile.
As you can see in the picture above, he was his usual calm, happy self at the doctor. He even gave his doctor some of his big smiles. I think Dr. D thought Miller was pretty charming.

We also found out at that our little chubster is weighing in at 12 lbs. 15 oz. now. That means that he has officially doubled his birth weight! Hard to believe babies do that so quickly, but he is growing like a weed. He is also now in the 50th percentile for height and weight (he had been in the 25th), so he is catching up with the other babies his age. Before we know it, he'll be the big ol' boy he was born to be!

Our New Landscaping

Who would have thought half a tree would look so attractive in our front yard?

Miller and Aunt Kristi

Kristi and Joe came by to see Miller last weekend, and he had a lot of fun with them both. We are dorks, and we forgot to take a picture of Miller with Joe, but we did get this good one with his Aunt Kristi.
