Summer 2011

So, as previously established, I am the worst blogger ever. But here is a quick catch-up on what's going on with the Brant fam this summer.

In early summer, we spent quite a bit of time at the zoo. Miller loves giving the Gorilla statue a hug. What a sweet boy.

He also still loves feeding the giraffes. Although he did get nipped at one trip, which completely freaked him out. Luckily, he'd forgotten about it by the next time we went.

This is what we've been doing every time we get a chance. It's pretty much too hot to do anything else. Miller loves dog kisses and swimming.

Miller in the Bluebonnets

We wouldn't be Texas parents if we didn't make our little boy do this, would we?

This is mostly what Miller wanted to do, walk around and touch all of the flowers. And by touch, I mean pick and throw.

I call this one, little boy, big ol' field.

Adventure boy loves to have Mike throw him up in the air.

Have you ever seen a little boy look happier?

Me and my little man.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my two guys. Miller just loves Mike.

Miller goes to the zoo

So, we've decided that taking Miller to the zoo is pretty much the most fun way to spend an afternoon with him. He just loves all the animals, and has so much fun running around and exploring.

Here he is hanging with daddy in front of the elephants. In most of the pictures we tried to take, he's wiggling around trying to look at the animals!

His first ride on a horse, which he thought was pretty much the greatest thing ever.

With mommy in front of an enormous camel.

His favorite animal - the chimpanzees. He has been talking about them non-stop since we went to the zoo for the first time in March.

Christmas

So, as usual, I'm about a month behind on my blogging, but I wanted to post a few pictures from Miller's second Christmas. Here's Miller with PawPaw reading his "Cowbees" book.

He loved all of his presents, but he was clearly most excited about the hammer that came with his pound-a-ball toy.

I guess he liked the toy okay too...

Hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa...

Drinkin' some juice with Nana and Chuckpaw

Trolling the living room to find another sucker to share their cake with him.

Daddy is such a sucker.

Over having his picture taken at the end of the day.

Slightly more successful. Too bad Daddy's not looking at the camera.
