Mavericks!

As you can see, Miller (and me and Mike) are very excited about the Mavs' playoff run so far. Even just a couple of months ago, I never would have guessed they would do so well - I even doubted that they would make the playoffs. In fact, I was halfway hoping they would miss the playoffs so they could score a lottery pick. Sigh. I would like to officially apologize for being such a fair-weather fan this season.

Easter With Miller's New BFF

Miller had a great first Easter. He had two outfits to wear, neither of which I have a very good picture of (of course). The first was the Baby's First Easter onesie that his MiMi got him, which he wore with his cool khaki shorts.

To go over to his Great Aunt Julie and Uncle Dave's house, he changed into a onesie covered in chicks that read, "Just Hatched". Very cute. Here is is posing it it with PawPaw and Grammy.

Miller's favorite part of the day was meeting his cousin Michael, who is his new BFF. As soon as Michael is old enough to drive down to Dallas or we move closer to Allen, he will be Miller's #1 babysitter.

One Month Old!

Miller is one month old today! In some ways I can't believe it's already been a month, and in other ways, I can't believe it's only been a month. He is such a sweet boy, and Mike and I feel so blessed to have him healthy and home with us. As you can see, he is celebrating today's milestone the way he celebrates most things - by napping.

Dreaming...

I think it's clear that Miller is dreaming about Longhorn football already...

Miller On The Move And On The Couch

Miller's had a fun day today. First he got to meet Elizabeth and Celeste, but of course I forgot to take any pictures while they were here. After they left, because it was such a pretty day, we took our first family walk - me and Mike, Miller, Sadie and Vince. The dogs were very good, and although Miller snoozed through pretty much the whole walk, we think he enjoyed it too.

After our walk, Miller ate and settled down on the couch with Mike to watch the Final Four. He woke up after his mid-afternoon meal, and he's now been awake for more than two hours. I think he must like basketball already!

Miller's Ready for His Close-Up

Mike took some adorable pictures of Miller yesterday, and I couldn't resist posting them. They were just too sweet :)

ChuckPaw, PawPaw and Manny

Now that he's home, Miller's had lots of visitors over the last few days. Here he is with Nana's fiancee, Chuck. He hasn't chosen his grandpa name yet, so Mike has dubbed him "ChuckPaw", which we think sounds like the name of an Indian Casino, but amuses us every time we say it.

PawPaw and Manny came to visit him yesterday. PawPaw gave him a bottle, which he pretty much drooled out all over himself. Afterwards, he gave him some snuggles, which went much more smoothly.

Miller is lucky to have a great-grandma like Manny. He didn't wake up much when they were here, but he did give them a couple of peeks at his eyes.
